My Story

Hello, my name is Kenneth and I’m glad to share my story…I hope it can save someone’s life. I was raised in a poor household with no father and was addicted to drugs for many years. I’m proud to say I’m sober and will never do drugs again in my life! I’ve been experiencing homelessness for a little over a year and am currently staying at the Salvation Army Shelter. Recently I got a job at Goodwill and am currently saving the money I have to reunite with my mother who I haven’t seen in almost 20 years.
